Since this is the first year Zhana has really been into Halloween I’m loving it! Some more ideas I’ve come acroos online include:
Witch Legs on Pumpkin (Better Homes and Garden Website): All you need is Black paint, black Grosgrain ribbon, gouge, straight pins, and of course two pumpkins. For full instructions and the template download see http://www.bhg.com/holidays/halloween/pumpkin-carving/halloween-witch-dance-pumpkin/. (BTW, if anyone can tell me how to make a link with just the title and not the entire link showing I would really, really appreciate it.)
2. Window painting. Funny, I've seen this in business windows but never thought of doing it in my own windows. Tempera paints are best because they can be washed off easily.
I mostly like outdoor halloween projects and those that don't cost a lot. For example, today we made the milk jug ghosts I posted about a week or so ago. If you have any ideas, I'd love for you to share.

Yay! Someone else paints their windows. We've tended to do that when it correlates to a holiday or something. Tempera paint is what we've used and I heard that adding a little bit of dishwashing liquid added to the paint helps with cleanup so I've always done that. The sliding glass doors are perfect because each of the kids could be in charge of one whole side!
