One thing I love reading about is family traditions. Recently, in the September edition of Family Fun magazine I read about a family that holds elections to determine what will be for dinner that week. Everyone gets to nominate dishes and then the family takes a vote using real ballots and everything! When Zhana is older, I think this is a great activity to teach her about voting and democracy.
