I found a great idea for today's homemade game from Teaching tinytots http://teachingtinytots.blogspot.com/2008/09/little-mouse.html who got the idea from Reading With Hannahhttp://readingwithhannah.blogspot.com/2004/01/games-little-mouse-little-mouse.html. Basically, you print out clipart of a mouse and several houses. You color the houses and mouse.
To Play:
put the houses on the felt board and while LO isn't looking hide little mouse behind one of the housesnow say:Little Mouse Little Mouse are you behind the (color) house?then LO looks and says yes or no keep going till LO finds little mouse! Later today I'll post some pics of us playing. Thanks fellow blogger mommies for this great idea!

I'm so glad you liked this idea. Hannah loves this game and still wants to play it all the time even though she knows her colors already. I think she just likes to pretend to be the mommy now :)

No, don't mind at all. Thank you! We finished playing the game a little while ago. Unfortunately, the batteries on my camera were dead so I didn't get to take pictures. She really enjoyed the game. It's such a good idea!
