For Mother’s Day 2009, I wanted to spend the day in nature so we headed down to a creek near our home (about 3 miles away). Watching Zhana play outside makes me so happy.

My mom came up and spent the day with us too. That made me really happy. She’s such a great grandma and mom.

What a great Mother’s Day! We had some bad news come our way and it could have been a terribly depressing day but it ended up being great because of the love I felt. Love can beat anything. I hope you all had a fantastic Mother’s Day as well.
