Today I have a fabulous learning product to review that I think many moms will enjoy reading about: Tattoos for Tots.Yes, that's right a learning product. We've been using stickers as rewards for potty training and it is working wonders. The problem is two minutes after receiving the sticker she pulls it off or loses it then comes to me sobbing about her sticker. The solution? Tattoos.
Tattoos for kids are nothing new but Tattoos for Tots offers so much more! These are a learning product-yes you heard right a tattoo that teaches. This product is so unique and original. I actually think it is rather amazing and I am a huge fan of the product. You see, the designs are a combination of printed words with pictures. Zhana has been learning how to read using whole word method since she was an infant and this is exactly the type of product that works wonderful with the Glenn Doman, Titzer method, or other early reading programs.
Tattoos for Tots was created by two moms, an elementary school teacher and a graphic designer. I love companies created by moms for moms!
We've been testing them out for the last couple of days and they last great. They don't rub, peel, or flake off easily. Unfortunately, they last so well, we haven't been able to test and take pictures of as many as we've planned. The little teapot on her hand shown in the picture below has been going strong for several days. She is oh so proud of her teapot and loves showing it off to people. This was the perfect tattoo for her to wear because recently she's gotten into having tea parties and often says "tea" but I'd never heard her say "teapot" until wearing the tattoo. Thus, my experience may help to prove that this product also helps to increase vocabulary.
This is a fabulous idea for presents, favors, or stocking stuffers. There are so many different choices and all are affordable especially when you consider how well they wear. After testing these for a few days, I can tell you that the kind you get in a vending machine do not compare.
Some of the choices include:
Single Pack-Includes 20 single tats for $10; There are too many choices to list! Classic Collection-Includes 2 sheets for $4. Again there are several categories but some of my faves include fruit because Zhana is very into learning and saying fruit (I'm so happy she loves her fruit and veggies btw), tea party (again because its a fave of Zhana's right now), and alphabet. I'm for sure getting the alphabet soon because I think it will help her learn her name or any current words we are working on for the week.
Holiday Collection-How fun is this? I think it will make holidays even more exciting and she starts to learn about the names of traditional characters.

These are awesome! I would love to see Spanish tattoos, just some basic objects with the words. I started teaching Spanish to my son (who will be 4 in a couple months) around the age of 2 1/2.

I like the zoo animals.
My favorite tattoo on the site is the butterfly tattoo on the insects page. I think this is a fantastic idea, and I have a two year old niece who is very into tattoos lately.
Fun idea! My kids would like to see a forest animal tattoo set.
Love the Zoo Animals.

These are REALLY cute. I want them and I could do a word of the day with my 3 yr. old. I wish I had these when my son was younger, because tatoos are cool, you know!
I didn't see any guitars, unless I missed it. I'd like to see guitars, drums, music notes, etc... because my kids are into guitars (real & video game ones!)

I accidently drew for the contest early. It wasn't supposed to be until Saturday night. I had my dates wrong because I didn't realize it was after midnight and it already had it as the 25th. It is a complicated situation. I don't feel like it is fair to people that may have been waiting until the end to enter but it also isn't right to the person I had already emailed indicating they were the winner. When I weight which is worse, I think it would be worse for the person already excited about winning to then be contacted and told they hadn't won. This happened on 2 different giveaways. I hope everyone understands and realizes I'm just a mom with a blog and mistakes happen. I know I have the best readers in the world though and that they'll understand. Thank You! Anyway, because of this I've decided to end the giveaway early and the people already contacted and notified they won will have won.
Congrats to Christine
