Lil’ Rinser Review

rinser3

The Lil' Rinser is a must have product if you have toddlers.Okay, there are a lot of product out there that SEEM like a must-have item...so let's see if I can differentiate this review a little bit. Must have, gotta have, oh my goodness how did I live without this before.

rinser2

My daughter is a little water bug who has loved bath time since she was born. I've always joked that I have the cleanest kid I know because she always takes 2 baths a day and sometimes many more! She would spend the entire day in the water if I'd let her.  However, as she's gotten more hair, that means more shampoo, and thus more water needed to rinse out the shampoo.  I tried many different methods to keep water from getting in her eyes but none were very successful. When I was a kid, I think I just used a washcloth but this hasn't worked for her.  Every time the washcloth slips and besides she just doesn't like the feeling of water going over her face. So, I was really excited to find the Lil' Rinser and have the opportunity to review it.  I've seen a couple other rinsers out there but they are usually a flimsy plastic that water leaks through.  This product has a soft rim that contours to fit a little ones head. It completely seals off water from little faces and channels water away from faces.   I love the handle, which makes using the product so much easier. You know those moments in parenting where you've had a problem for months and months and it is finally solved and then that little mommy squeal happens? Yep, this product made the mommy squeal come out.  I may have even done a little jig.  When I poured the water over her head that first time and instead of crying heard a giggle, I couldn't have been happier.  Now, every time she takes a bath she's happy to have her hair wash. Plus, until it is time to wash her hair, she plays with it as a hat.

It fits from ages 12 months all the way to adult! This product can be purchased for a very reasonable $9.99.

My little one likes to lay down in the bathtub and try to float.  She's not had a problem with water in her ears as of yet but I understand this product works great for children that have tubes in their ears, ear infections, or other ear conditions where the ear needs to stay dry.  However, they probably shouldn't use it like my little girl is below, lol. Yes, that is a margarine tub on her head. Her favorite bath toy in the world.  However, the Lil’ Rinser, while designed as a functional product, is running a close second for favorite bath toy.

Picture 247 So if you are concerned about keeping water out of your child’s eyes you should look into Lil’ Rinser.  Or if you just want a bath toy that a kid will actually play with, lol, you might consider Lil’ Rinser.  You can read more about them and order one  by clicking this link: The Lil' Rinser website

I like how its just so simple but works so well! This would be a great thing for Little bar and Pufferfish, who are always getting water in their eyes! LOL... I just remembered that, when Pufferfish was so little that we used to give her baths in the kitchen sink, I once tried to make a similar contraption out of a foam plate! (It didn't work out so well!)

Thanks for reviewing this product!! We have a huge hair washing phobia in this house with one of our 3yos. When it is time for bath he gets tears in his eyes and says 'No wash hair. No wash hair.' We certainly be buying one of these, if we don't win. We'll get the purple one. My blog is private so can't link to it.

Thanks,
Shannon

Oh, this would make bathing my daughter so much easier - she nearly has a coronary every time I rinse her hair!

I'm loving the blue and yellow - she would want the purple, but it has to be ds appropriate, as well. :)

My fave part is the soft handle part that I would hold. I tried something like this before and it slipped everywhere, it wasn't good. This one is made right. I don't care what color I get, I just want/need one!

I love how the shape keeps water from getting into the ears! DD doesn't mind water on her face, but hates it in her ears and that's hard to do!
